This is the big question isn’t it? As we all know harry potter and the deathly hallows part 2 will be release this July. The last movie of the awesome harry potter series. Sure has been a long wait from the first movies release “harry potter and the scorers stone” in November of 2001. Ten yeas wow has it been that long. The years have gotten away from me. , coach outlet
Part one had vary mixed reviews, not enough action, differs from the book to much, of course this would happen. After all the movie was made as a “buffer” by that I mean it has all the stuff leading to the most exciting parts of the last book. That said who would expect any more from part one?
On to part two. I’d say it will be the best most graphically amazing of all the series combined. How could it not, with the attack on Hogwarts, Harry Potter and Voldemort fighting their last battle ect. I’m so excited to see the last installment as you probably are to.

Now i know many have criticized Channing Tatum as an untalented actor , but in some of his films i saw a lot of potential in him. Channing Tatum plays Jonathan , Who is a new cop, with a young family. Al Pacino Plays Detective Stanford who was once Jonathan’s Father’s Co worker or more of a friend. As the story goes we find out that Jonathan killed two junkies in an accident when he was young, Detective Stanford being a friend of his father’s was at the crime scene helped Jonathan To Cover Up the incident,
Now Jonathan has to face his past again as the information of an old case being set up suddenly gets released by local Papers. Which Turns out to be Jonathan’s Own Haunting Incident. Jonathan Starts to investigate this case, at the same time searching for the Source, So he can save his job and his life. The movie is Decent. But it could have been a lot better, I think many will agree with me on that one. The Performance is good, but the characters could have been explored more. Channing Tatum Still needs more time to perfect his roles, as for Pacino he was one of the elements that carried the film. The ending twist was disappointing as you can easily predict it before it happens. This movie had a lot of potential , it really could have been a much better movie.
It kills me to say this but Al Pacino hasn’t had a good film role in years. He’s been great in TV movies but lately it’s been 88 Minutes, Righteous Kill and the upcoming The Son Of No One (which saw numerous walk-outs at Sundance). There have been a lot of new movies about monsters lately that have been pretty mediocre, but upcoming movie “Priest” is going to be a vampire movie blockbuster. It’s a post- apocalyptic adventure film, headed up by star Paul Bettany and directed by Scott Charles Stewart (“Legion”), and is about a special order of priests who battle vampires for the human race but are not appreciated for their efforts. Movie Picture “Priest” is going to do pretty well at the box office, as it’s in competition with “Fast Five, vibram five fingers shoes ,” “Thor,” and the movie most worth of competition, abercrombie outlet , “Bridesmaids.” Eventually it’ll be found in releases on DVD for those who enjoy monster movies.
Priest is played by Bettany. Priest is a priest turned ditch digger in a society of the future where the church runs the world like an overlord. When Priest is asked by an outlander by the name of Hicks, played by Cam Gigandet, to help find Priest’s niece Lucy, played by Lily Collins, Priest goes against the church to find the vampires that have kidnapped Lucy. Once the church finds out what Priest is up to, they send a gang of priests, including a priestess, played by Maggie Q, with whom Priest has had an intimate relationship in the past.
New movie release “Priest” is the vampire version of John Ford’s The Searchers, a classic western. Directors Stewart and Cory Goodman have used a little bit of an original comic by Min-Woo Hyung, but for the most part, “Priest” is an update of Ford’s film. They, like Ford, are good at describing what happens when civilization is impacted by savage hordes, this movie is really an action movie.
Some of the movies’ dramatic momentum is cut short because some scenes come too early and some too late. Bettany has constant nightmares about a vampire hive so his return to that hive should be at the climax of the movie, not randomly stuck in the middle. With this mistake, Goodman and Stewart make the movie seem insubstantial. The film needs more action after an assault on a moving train but the movie ends, cheap coach purses , as does the action.
Paul Bettany is a good bet as an action star with his tall, charismatic good looks. Covering him in black and hiding his feelings seems silly. He’s only in his element when playing against Maggie Q., whose sinuous physicality seems meant for this kind of a role. The two of them give depth to the longing that flickers between the characters. Priest’s biggest mistake is that it takes itself too seriously – the characters are way too unhappy.

This weekend, the wife and I attended the 1st annual Telluride Horror Film Festival. This film was the festival’s big hit. An indie slasher film spoof about two scary looking hillbillies who are mistaken for ‘Deliverance’ type rednecks, this one had the audience falling out of their seats laughing. The premise is familiar and way overused hollister , college kids go camping in the woods, meet Tucker and Dale who have just spent their life savings on their new West Virginia ‘vacation home’.
After an incident on the lake where the kids believe Tucker and Dale have kidnapped one of the students, they proceed to kill themselves in unique and hilarious ways trying to save her. This could have been a one trick pony that fell flat, but clever writing, comic timing, and a decent cast turned this into a fun ride. If you’re a fan of the Horror genre but don’t care for slice em’ dice em’ (unless it’s tongue in cheek), you’ll love it. This one has cult classic written all over it.
While those lucky enough to nab tickets to the opening night of the 58th Sydney Film Festival were snuggled into the State Theatre to watch Joe Wright’s arthouse action-flick, Hanna, those less fortunate ‘ or perhaps just more depraved ‘ were amped up for this absurd homage to 70s exploitation films. On the basis of the consistent gasps and laughter from the packed house, few were left disappointed.
In his introduction, festival co-programmer Richard Kuiper called the film ‘sleazy’. This is an understatement. Hobo with a Shotgun is insane. Completely, bat-shit insane. Well directed and surprisingly well made, this is the movie Machete wanted to be ‘ the perfect homage to those grimy grindhouse films that became ‘video nasties’ in the 80s.

Final Destination 5 is an upcoming 2011 3D supernatural horror-thriller film written by Eric Heisserer and directed by Steven Quale.
